Lenovo prepara lançamento da workstation portátil mais fina e leve do seu catálogo

Lenovo will market two new Thinkpad computers, machines more powerful for professional performance. The Thinkpad P1 is the lightest and lightest ever launched by the manufacturer, weighing 1.7 kg and a thickness of 18.4 mm, with an overall reduction of 35 percent compared to previous models.The computer offers a 15.6-inch screen, powered by NVidia's Quadro P graphics card, up to the P2000 model, supporting 4K resolutions. It also has Intel's eighth-generation processors with speeds up to 4.6 GHz, up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory and 4 TB of storage. The P1 offers two Thunderbolt 3 ports, two USB 3.1 ports, one HDMI 2.0 port, one card reader (4 in 1) and a biometric fingerprint sensor. The computer features a black finish and a glass touchpad.

The P1 will be accompanied by its "brother" P72, a laptop that aims to replace the "gigantic" desktop. In addition to the 6 TB of internal storage, it features up to 128 GB of DDR4 memory and 16 GB of Intel Optane memory, which makes data processing faster. It also has an NVidia Quadro graphics card (up to the P5200) to power a 17.3-inch screen.Professional notebooks will be available in late August, with Thinkpad P1 base prices starting at around 1,700 euros and P72 for 1,600 euros.
