Brand promises to have first smartphone with 5G and Snapdragon 855

The promise came in the "mouth" of Lenovo Vice President Chang Cheng, who in Chinese social network Weibo said that the company will make available the world's first 5G technology smartphone.

The executive added that the equipment will have Snapdragon 855, Qualcomm's next generation of high-end processors which, although not yet officially released, has been in production since June.

 

However, the question remains whether Lenovo will be able to fulfill this promise, since, in addition to not advancing any deadline or revealing any other settings regarding the new device, the post of Chang Cheng is no longer available.
With 5G technology coming to life soon, manufacturers are competing against each other to launch the world's first 5G smartphone, as is the case with Huawei and OnePlus who have already said they are ready for that in the second half of 2019.
