GPS dos novos smartwatches da Fossil não precisa de um smartphone para funcionar
GPS of the brand's new smartwatches does not need a smartphone to work
Fossil's new smartwatches are not only new because of their design, but also because they integrate a set of features that the predecessor models did not contemplate. To remember: NFC with support for payments, GPS and heart rate sensor. The watches featuring these features are the new Fossil Q Venture HR and Fossil Q Explorist HR. Thanks to Google Fit, both are able to measure their heart rate during physical exercise sessions and provide a handful of dials suitable for displaying data related to the number of beats per minute and their performance in training. With GPS integrated into the clock's own hardware, the user can monitor hiking, racing, climbing and cycling, even when forgetting the phone at home.Note that NFC for payments is only compatible with Google Pay, since the operating system of these watches is Wear OS, Android. The main difference between both models lies in size and appearance. The Q Venture features a 40mm dial and removable bracelets, while the Explorist HR has a 45mm dial and wider bracelets.More importantly, these smart watches are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, which has been on the market for several years. And the battery also falls short of some previous models.
