WhatsApp: Hackers can use your account in messaging groups

A vulnerability has been discovered in WhatsApp that allows hackers to take advantage of it to be able to use a third party account and send messages in groups posing as someone else.
The vulnerability was discovered and shared by Check Point, with the security company decrypting the communications between the mobile and web version of WhatsApp. Mirror says that three methods have been discovered that allow researchers to manipulate messaging app communications and create and send fake messages.
