P-Series Quantum 65″ 4K HDR Smart TV price revealed

Vizio unveiled its new 2018 television lineup back in April, including its M-Series 4K HDR models and its P-Series Quantum 4K HDR Smart TV models. The company is back today with pricing details for the 65-inch 2018 P-Series television in particular, revealing that it will cost $2,099.99 USD. There’s a lot to like about this TV, not the least of which is its bezel-free design and Quantum Dot Technology. The P-Series Quantum lineup from Vizio packs the high-end features you’d want in a home entertainment setup, including the maker’s Quantum Dot Technology combined with a full array LED backlight, 192 dimming zones, and Dolby Vision HDR. This model is capable of up to 2000 nits brightness and includes Vizio’s smart TV software.

The TV supports 4K UHD content with a 3840 x 2160 resolution and HLG/HDR10/Dolby Vision HDR content. A spatial scaling engine enhances both HD and Full HD videos so that they appear to be Ultra HD content, plus there’s Clear Action 960 to stabilize the image while keeping blurs at a minimum. The 240Hz refresh rate offers a smooth life-like picture, and all of this is made possible by an octa-core processor, the TV’s “brain.”
The 2018 Vizio P-Series Quantum TV boasts more than 1 billion colors, with the maker saying you’d get a clear, crisp, realistic, and incredibly sharp image. The model’s physical design is also appealing, including a lack of bezels on all four sides, as well as slim feet for an overall modern, sleek appearance.
Vizio packs its 2018 SmartCast OS software into the P-Series television, bringing various video apps you’d otherwise get through a set-top box. The software has Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa built-in, as well as Chromecast built-in for casting content.
Vizio is offering the new model through retail stores Sam’s Club, Costco, and Best Buy.
