Sony's new technology aims to leverage quality of portable projectors

Sony explains that a 0.37 type chip typically has blurry images due to the light limitation on the semiconductor under the electrode that generates the pixels. The manufacturer added light protective layers to optimize the structure of the SXRD. To get the most out of the SXRD's functions, Sony has introduced the LSI drive that compensates for the geometry and edges of the image by correcting it on curved surfaces.
