Leak: Google prepares smart dock to launch with the new Pixel 3
Google Pixel 3 should be introduced before the end of the year, just as with previous models in this range, but as the international press reports, it is possible that the device will be unveiled alongside a new loading dock that will be able to become a smart speaker whenever the phone is docked.The 9to5Google website, which specializes in news related to the North American brand, has been investigating the latest lines of code added to the beta of the Google application, and has detected references to a "Pixel Stand" that do not match any product known to the company. The lines contain messages that may appear on the smartphone screen as soon as you connect it to the dock. One of them informs that the "Assistant can use the user's personal data to make suggestions, answer questions, and take personalized actions when the phone is locked and connected to the Pixel Stand."

Google hinted that there might be a similar device in development when it launched Android P Developer Preview 3. The software already contained references to a "dock" that would be able to display the state of the smartphone's battery when the user's eyes were detected .
It is not certain that the product will actually hit the market but, coming soon, may be an alternative to devices in the Google Home range and new Smart Display equipment, developed in partnership with Lenovo.
