Do you need to study but do not want to be closed at home? Uniphi gives you some tips
The idea of Uniphi came from Guilherme Oliveira e Costa, Ricardo Santos and João Araújo, three friends who, like most university students, had a habit of studying abroad. However, this is not always easy, as there is not always enough information available to know if a particular site is suitable.Based on this principle and many lost hours in search of a suitable location, the three students have developed the app that allows, in a simple and free way, to search for libraries, study rooms of colleges or cafes that suit the needs of users .Among the various information available, users can know the hours of operation of the spaces and if they have Wi-Fi, what transport there or how quiet it is.Although the target audience is the students, Uniphi can also be used by freelancers or anyone else who needs a space to be at the computer. Maybe that's why the application already has more than a thousand (1,100) registered users and about seven thousand searches performed, although it was only released last month. The app provides information on 200 spaces in Lisbon, 21 in Porto and 10 in Coimbra, for both Android and iOS users. The founders of Uniphi also launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise five thousand euros to develop new features in the app.
