APPLE

The iPhone 3GS will again be sold in South Korea

The iPhone 3GS, launched in 2009 and discontinued in 2012, resurrected after six years in the pit. South Korean operator SK Telink has unveiled some of its flagship models and will launch a sale later this month. Each model will be marketed for 44,000 won (about R $ 150, in direct conversion), without any contract. When the smartphone was released, the 8GB model was out for R $ 1,699 in Vivo prepaid.Because cell phones have been stored for a long time, the batteries may be jumbled. So the carrier says it will open the box and run a test to see if the model is still working.Such a device is a small collector's item, still intact, inside the box. That's because it's hard to think of using it nowadays: 4G is not supported, it uses that huge SIM card, and several applications will not work, since iOS is outdated. But at the time, it was the best: 3 megapixel camera with autofocus, Find my iPhone and copy, cut and paste.
