Tesla confirms that it will make improvements to Model 3
After much dialogue between Tesla CEO Elon Musk and members of the Consumer Reports website regarding the criticism of Model 3, the company confirmed that it made some changes to the car (with more on the way) as a result of the feedback.
"[Elon Musk] was remarkably sincere. He thanked us for bringing these things to our attention, "said one of Consumer Reports' chief test officer Jake Fisher. One of the criticisms pointed out was related to the emergency braking system of Model 3, which was enough for the car not to be recommended by the site.
Tesla hopes to fix the problem with an update already this weekend, saying that in the near future will make some adjustments. One of them is the way to adjust the speed in 'cruise control' mode, which will be possible through the steering wheel and not just the touch panel.
