We may not be there yet but the future is coming and with it come robots that will be able to help us even in the simplest tasks. The robot, named PR2, was created by researchers at the Institute of Technology of Georgia may not yet be at the point that idealized but, as they say in slang, the way is done walking."We taught the robot how to consider what people feel physically when they are receiving assistance. In a way, the robot is able to take the perspective of humans by helping to dress. In doing so, we observed emerging behaviors in which the robot was able to completely dress a person's arm and eliminate the likelihood of the garment getting stuck in the body, "project manager Zackory Erickson told Digital Trends.Despite the promising results, those responsible for setting up the PR2 still hope to improve it by continuing the research, assuming it will be a useful gadget to assist people with disabilities. See above for a demonstration video of the PR2 robot in action.
