ChronoZoom: Chronological journey through the origins of the universe and the history of mathematics
The ChronoZoom project is a site where you can easily view information organized in different chronologies, such as the history of the universe, from the great Big Bang to the present. It has other interesting topics such as the history of Chinese medicine and mathematics, the awarding of Nobel Prizes over the years or the experiences of CERN, to name a few.The project was designed by the science department of the University of California in collaboration with Microsoft Research and Moscow State University. The first version of ChronoZoom was released in 2010 and has since been upgraded in open source format, with navigation enhancements and more information introduced.

The goal is to showcase all database documentation, including photos and videos, over time and history, through zooms, in an upcoming Google Earth experiment. In chronology dedicated to the history of the universe, users can witness the true scale of time over different cosmic, geological, biological, and social periods. To better understand the scale of this "infinite" chronology, press the shortcut "Cosmos" in the menu, and then "humanity" and note the power of the site Zoom. In fact, the presence of humanity in the Cosmos is a small "needle in the haystack"!An interesting tool of the site is the possibility of creating collections of contents, through a register. You can also embark on guided tours, where a speaker will guide you through the chosen theme, automatically navigating through the chronology while presenting the respective documents. The project is available in open source format, which allows for public contribution in content enrichment.
