Samsung launches its new gamer notebook: the Odyssey Z

During the announcement event of Intel's 8th processor family, Samsung took the opportunity to unveil and launch its latest gamer-oriented notebook: Odyssey Z.
Unsurprisingly, the notebook has state-of-the-art hardware and stands out by offering an advanced temperature control system to prevent overheating and maintain high performance while running heavy programs and games.
Dubbed the Z AeroFlow Cooling System, the intelligent temperature management technology is comprised of three major structural components, which together provide a structure that facilitates the passage of air inside the notebook. Another novelty is that the laptop offers a very compact and thin structure compared to previous models from Samsung.


Inside, the laptop is equipped with the Core i7 (eighth generation) six-core processor, which also offers 12 threads, plus 16 GB of DDR4 type RAM and GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card with 6 GB GDDR. In terms of connectivity, the Odyssey Z offers three USB 3.0 ports and one USB Type C, HDMI port and LAN input.The notebook's layout offers hot keys to functions such as screen recording and other shortcuts, as well as "Crater Keycaps" keys that ensure comfort and accuracy for gaming. The device also offers a quiet mode that reduces the fan noise, which is indicated for situations where the notebook is not running games.

According to Samsung's announcement, Odyssey Z will first be available in South Korea and China later this month, followed by the US launch scheduled for the third quarter of 2018. South Korea has not yet released the price of notebook, but you do not have to go very far to know that the product will be targeted only to enthusiasts with lots of money in their pockets.
