New Samsung SSDs promise higher "flights" to your computer
Samsung is the maker of some of the fastest Solid State Drive (SSD) on the market, but the models the technology just announced prove there is still room for improvement. The new 970 Evo and 970 Pro are upgraded to the 960 line and promise to take your computer to higher-than-average flights with top-of-the-range predecessors.Both Evo and Pro can achieve sequential access speeds in the order of 3,500MB / s, just like the best components of the 960 line, but the highlight is the recording speed. The 970 Pro reaches 2,700MB / s in operations of this nature, while the P70 Evo reaches 2,500MB / s.

The maximum life expectancy for these components is around 1,200TB of stored data, in the case of the Evo 970. The Pro can get twice this value with the same memory capacity.

Note also that both models will reach the market in several versions. The release date is set for next May 7. The Samsung SSD 970 Pro will debut in stores on 512GB and 1TB models, and the base price of this component will be set at $ 330. The Evo extends between varieties of 250GB, 500GB, 1TB and 2TB.
