The professor introduces himself as Owura Kwadwo, but his real name, according to the site Quartz Africa, is Richard Appiah Akoto.In his message on the social network, he wrote, "I love my students, so I do what I need them to understand what I'm teaching."According to Quartz, the school where Akoto teaches has not had a computer since 2011, even though students are required to take a computer test to go to high school."This is not the first time (I designed it). I do this whenever I'm in the classroom," Akoto told Quartz.About the photos have viralized, he said he was surprised, since they always put images on the social network. "I did not know they would get people's attention that way."

After seeing the photo, the businesswoman Rebecca Enonchong sent via Twitter a message to Microsoft Africa, noting that the teacher was teaching the use of a product of the company without having access to it. She wrote, "Surely you can give him the right resources for this."
Two days later Microsoft said it would send a computer to Professor Akoto as well as educational material.
