Robots also cry in new PlayStation 4 video game

Sony has revealed that its exclusive PS4 console, Detroit: Become Human, will hit stores on May 25. The game is in production at the Quantic Dream studio, which is responsible for some of the best cinematic experiences on the Japanese manufacturer's consoles, such as Heavy Rain or Beyond: Two Souls, titles that use renowned actors to embody the protagonists.
Detroit: Become Human takes place in a future where humans and androids coexist in a tenuous relationship. The player takes on the role of three androids, each with its own story, but contributing to a branched general plot.
Androids were created to serve humans, taking on domestic professions and even police forces, but some of them begin to develop emotions and question the nature of their existence.

This adventure, aimed at an adult audience, challenges players to confront some complex personal dilemmas, introducing strong themes of society. For example, the character Kara, an android designed to be a girl's mistress, ends up revolting against her owner after witnessing constant mistreatment of her own daughter.
On the other side of the barricade you will find Connor, an android designed as a police officer and specialist in pursuing other droids who have revolted and become criminals. Finally, the third protagonist is called Markus, and is a revolutionary leader who wants to free the androids from his own programming.
