PININFARINA
The Pininfarina HK GT Concept advances a future super-luxury electric sedan for the Chinese market, a request made by the Hybrid Kinetic staff, who debuts at the Geneva Motor Show an anticipation of the future model with an indisputable personality and with large opening doors in the format of 'seagull wings'.A few weeks ago, this new creation of the Italian designer shows a model of great proportions - with a length of 4,980 mm, a width of 1,998 mm, a height of 1,365 mm and a wheelbase of 2,975 mm - dimensions that divide in a long hood and a gently sloping roof to the rear with a very sporty design and marked lines of character, which are marked on the large doors and fenders in a sharper way.Sharing the stand in the Swiss event with the production Pininfarina H2, the profile of the HK GT is that of an authentic Gran Turismo that finishes in a front with a new more modern interpretation of the grid with vertical chrome lists, lodging in the extremes the front illumination, while the rear offers a clean view and smooth surfaces with thin taillights that add a touch of elegance.
The large doors give way to an interior designed in the classic 2 + 2 seater configuration, with a floating-looking instrument panel that extends across the entire width and is lined in white leather with bright orange contrast stitching. The Pininfarina concept has special ambient lighting depending on the style of driving - 'cruising' for long distances with the family and in blue color or 'racing' for when the driver wants to enjoy great performances and in red color - and the instrument plays a key role by transmitting only the information that is required on all driving parameters, suspension calibration, acceleration, etc.
A large touchscreen on the center console gives access to the entire connectivity platform and a second in the transmission tunnel offers the configuration of the air conditioning and the seats, while additional screens in the door panels allow information to be exchanged between the front and back passengers .
