Mango and Vodafone a step away from turning digital testers into reality
Vodafone is collaborating with Mango in the development of digital tasters, which the fashion chain is preparing to debut in its two largest stores.Supported in the Internet of Things (IoT), this new concept of tasters is based on a digital mirror, created by Mango and developed by Vodafone in collaboration with Jogotech.Such mirrors will allow customers to digitally read the label of a garment in the dresser and can automatically contact a store associate to order another size or color. The mirror will also suggest other pieces of clothing to complement Customer's first choice. The new tasters will advance in the two largest stores, located in Barcelona, Spain, and New York, USA.It will not be the case to start the phrase with "my mirror, my mirror" because the mirrors are from the clothing store. Not even to ask questions about your level of beauty, at least for now. But you can place orders."We look at the future of retail as a mix of online and offline worlds. These new tasters are another step towards the digital transformation of our stores with the aim of creating a totally new experience for our customers, "said Guillermo Corominas, head of Mango's Customer Department, quoted in a note sent to the newsrooms.
