Nokia resumes appeal to nostalgia with the new 8110 4G
The Nokia 8110 is a return to origins. An appeal to nostalgia that had already resulted in 2017 with the release of the new version of the 3310. In this case, the renewal is equally evident. While maintaining its curved shape, which fits the face shape of the user, and the sliding front cover, the phone now integrates a handful of features that the technology still did not allow in 1996, at the time of launching the original version of this equipment. We speak, of course, of internet access, a camera, Wi-Fi and everything that comes with these technologies.
Despite being a feature phone, the equipment featured in the MWC18 also includes support for some applications that have been specifically tailored to its capabilities, such as Google Assistant, Google Maps and the US company search engine. Facebook, Twitter and the mythical game Snake, also do not miss.
As with the 3310, the company has announced the 8110 as a holiday phone, which can come on the scene when you want to get out of the frenzy of notifications that smartphones boast, or simply when it's wise to save your smartphone.
As far as technical specifications are concerned, HMD underlines the autonomy for 17 days of use. In addition, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 205 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a 2MP rear camera and FM radio.
The mobile phone will hit the market in April with a base price of 79 euros.
