Invasion to pornographic site exposes data of 20 thousand users
A computer attack on SinVR's virtual pornography site resulted in the publication of personal data of about 20,000 users, who saw information such as names, email addresses and compromised download details.
The invasion of SinVR was done by Digital Interruption, a security company that revealed that it had attacked the site to test the security of the site and to make those responsible aware of the need not to make its users so vulnerable.
"It has been a tremendous learning experience, which will serve to improve our safety and we are pleased that it has been done ethically. Going forward, we are confident in our ability to stop similar attacks and will continue to use professional security services to audit our system, "a SinVR representative told The Sun.
