Amazon has inaugurated its own 'rainforest'
Techies are always looking for new ways to spark the innovative facet of their collaborators, with Amazon believing that its new office in Seattle, USA, will achieve that goal.
Named Spheres, the new offices have the shape of three spheres and can easily be mistaken for greenhouses. This is because these spheres are packed with 40,000 plants of 400 different species, Reuters reports.
The intention is to provide an organic environment and to provide employees with spaces where they can reflect and discuss ideas for new projects and products.
"We wanted to create something really special, something iconic for our campus and for the city of Seattle," said Amazon Vice President of Installations John Schoettler. Above you can see a gallery with images of the Spheres.
