Here comes a smart watch that measures blood pressure
The market is filled with smart clocks that measure our heart rate, count the steps we take, the meters we run, and even the steps that we go up and down. The novelty now, which is given by the specialized website Cnet, is that it prepares to reach the market a smartwatch that is also capable of measuring blood pressure. The HeartGuide is a smart watch that is expected to reach markets this year with a cost of approximately $ 350. The head of Omron, a company that manufactures blood pressure monitors for hospitals, told Cnet that the watch is still in the test phase, but will be submitted to Food and Drug Administration (a kind of Infarmed in the US) yet this year. The data obtained by the smart clock will be synchronized with the smartphone, thus making it possible to record the blood pressure that will be measured, even during sleep. The HeartGuide battery can last up to two weeks, which is a good thing for the use of smart watches by the elderly.
