Nokia Sleep: Tell me how you sleep, I'll tell you why you snore
The Finnish brand presented at CES a gadget that analyzes the quality of sleep of the users. The Nokia Sleep comes embedded in a cushion that connects to the internet and, among other functions, keeps a detailed record of sleep patterns. The company describes Nokia Sleep as an "advanced sensor" embedded in a cushion that can connect to the Wi-Fi network and put under the mattress to record the sleep cycles of users. The collected data is then synchronized with the Nokia Health Mate application, where they are analyzed and punctuated in order to see if in fact the user has good nights sleep.
The device will also clarify why it snores and will allow the connection to apps that can react to your sleep to, for example, program the equipment to decrease the temperature or turn off the bedroom lights as soon as it detects that the user is asleep. It will also be possible to integrate the Health Mate application with the Alexa virtual assistant. It is expected that Nokia Sleep will begin to be sold later this quarter for 99.95 dollars (83.79 euros).
