LG plans to launch a smartphone and tablet ... on the same device

The future seems to be on the folding screens. As if it was not enough Samsung intends to launch a smartphone with this type of screen, it seems that LG has the same idea. The implementation should, however, be somewhat different if one is to rely on the images of the patent submitted by South Korean technology.

The patent was noted by the GSMinfo website, describing a "mobile phone with a flexible screen that can be folded in half". Judging by the images, it will be possible to use this device both as a smartphone and as a tablet, something that should be useful for both professional and leisure purposes.
At the moment it is only known that the patent was submitted in July of last year and published during this month of January, it is unknown if LG plans to launch the device.
