In addition to computers, Dell now has gold jewelry

It's hard to be surprised by some launch, but Dell got it at CES 2018. In addition to products from its traditional "knowledge area", the manufacturer presented in Las Vegas a new business bet: a jewelry collection.
The new product line is called Bayou with Love vs. Dell, resulting from a partnership with actress Nikki Reed (of the Twilight saga) and although it may not seem at first glance, it has everything to do with technology, since the rings , earrings and cuff links are made from gold taken from recycled computer components, namely motherboards.
The idea of Dell also is to alert to the impact that electronic waste has on the environment, contributing to its reduction.The 14- and 18-carat gold pieces are on sale from the Bayou with Love website, starting at $ 78.
