Galaxy S24 FE gets spotted on One UI test build

The budget-friendly Samsung Galaxy S24 FE still seems to be in the works, with the Android smartphone getting spotted on One UI test build. It appeared on the company's firmware server with model number SM-721B, seemingly the model for the European market.

Samsung S24 FE has been making rounds since the launch of the Galaxy S24 series (Ultra curr. $1,024.95 on Amazon). One of the previous rumors hinted that the upcoming affordable smartphone from the company will be landing in late 2024, while another suggested that we may see it launch as early as this summer.

Considering the previous FE phones' launch timeline, the latter seems unlikely. However, Samsung has surprised the market before, so there's a possibility that we may see the S24 FE launch earlier than usual. The chances of that happening seem even higher now because it has allegedly been spotted on a One UI test build.

The build version on Samsung's firmware server is labeled as S721BXXU0AXE3/S721BOXM0AXE3/S721BXXU0AXE3, and it's for the model number SM-S721B, which is claimed to be the European variant of S24 FE. If Samsung had indeed uploaded the test One UI build for the Android phone, the launch could definitely be on the horizon.

Worth noting that Samsung is preparing to hold a second Unpacked event in July, but so far, the focus of the event seems to be on new foldables. If the company doesn't talk about the new budget-friendly flagship at this event, the S24 FE could stick with the regular launch timeline, which is October of this year.
