Microsoft starts to lose interest Surface Duo

Some time ago, Microsoft put a Surface Duo foldable tablet on sale. Despite its high price, the switchable tablet initially convinced many demanding users and technology enthusiasts. It uses two screens measuring 14.2 centimeters and 5.6 inches diagonally to display images. The screen can be rotated up to 360 degrees, which means it can be used both as a classic smartphone and as a tablet or even as an advanced e-book. When the device is fully open, the user has a screen with a diagonal of 20.6 centimeters or 8.1 inches, a resolution of 2,700 x 1,800 pixels and an aspect ratio of 3:2.

The Microsoft Surface Duo smart tablet is also equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile processor, six or eight gigabytes of system memory and up to 256 gigabytes of built-in data storage (the most powerful version). The novelty has a battery with a capacity of 3,577 milliampere-hours, which will be charged via the USB-C interface. The novelty also supports a 4G/LTE wireless network, as well as Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connections, so we will definitely not have problems with wireless connectivity.

While the Microsoft Surface Duo is still up to the latest challenges, it looks like it's no longer Microsoft's focus. The device has not received any updates since October last year. Even the software bugs brought by upgrading to Android 12L mobile operating system have not been fixed. The fact that the Surface Duo hasn't even received the April security patch is a plus. Therefore, many are convinced that the still very useful tablet will soon be forgotten.
