iPhone ''films'' its own fall from a height of 760 meters

A video posted by an unknown user has gone viral on social media showing an iPhone flying from a height and filming its fall. The video drew attention at Phone Arena.

The video itself was posted in February, but has only just gone viral. In the footage, a young couple can be seen riding a high-altitude carousel, filming themselves with an iPhone selfie camera. At some point, the smartphone slips out of the owner's hands and does a somersault on the floor.

After a few seconds of free flight, the iPhone lands on the back cover and continues to film on the front camera – in the frame you can see the same carousel from which you just left.

The author of the video, who, judging by his profile, is fond of skydiving, wrote that the height of the drop was 14,000 feet (about 760 meters). He doesn't name the iPhone model that performed so well, but overall this is far from the first case of its kind. It is not known how much the device has retained its appearance, but in terms of performance, the iPhone has clearly survived and feels good. It's true that the attraction height numbers look a little strange - maybe the author of the post made a typo and added an extra zero.

In any case, it is hardly worth repeating the experiment intentionally with your iPhone – situations when an “apple” smartphone shatters when dropped from 1-2 meters occur much more often.
