Model 13 Ultra will be impressive

At tomorrow’s event, not only the extremely stylish Xiaomi Band 8 and the two promising Pad 6 will be presented, but also the prestigious Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The official previews just published on Weibo confirm our previous ideas about the design and also provide additional information about the device’s design, use of materials and display.

The C7 LTPO OLED panel of the 13 Ultra with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels and a size of around 6.7″ is the result of the joint development work of Xiaomi and China Star, which promises a maximum white luminance of 2600 nits when displaying HDR content.

The 15.61-millimeter thickness of the camera panel, which accommodates three 50-megapixel sensors, stands out from the plane of the new-generation synthetic leather back panel without a sharp border, with a subtle transition, and the lower and upper segments are thinner for a more comfortable grip. The textured material not only has an antibacterial coating, but also has dirt-repellent properties and, according to the manufacturer’s promise, it will not turn yellow during everyday use. But if you are still concerned about the aesthetic durability of the silver metal alloy frame and the white back, Xiaomi’s camera phone also looks convincing in green.
