GAMESIR

GameSir showed a transparent controller with an effective backlight and precise sticks

You can get game controllers in almost any color, and many companies also offer custom stickers and other modifications. However, there are not so many transparent gamepads, and the new one from GameSir looks very good. The rest of the specifications don’t sound bad either.

At the outset, it is necessary to mention two limitations of the T4 Kaleid gamepad, which will deter many interested parties from purchasing. It is a wired controller with a two-meter cable that can be disconnected. Wireless connectivity is completely lacking. Another catch is compatibility only with Windows (10 and 11), Nintendem Switch and Android 8 (and later). So there is no mention of console support from Sony and Microsoft. So it will mainly be accessories aimed at PC gamers.

However, the T4 Kaleid will find its customers mainly thanks to its transparent exterior. Through the transparent plastic, you can see the base plate, which the manufacturer has properly decorated. You can also see the vibration motors at the ends of the gamepad. In addition, there is an RGB backlight inside the controller, which mainly illuminates the internal components.

As for the buttons, the controller adopted the layout from the Xbox gamepad, i.e. the asymmetrical placement of the sticks. The buttons are also described. After all, you will most likely connect the controller to a computer where the Xbox layout is often used as a player.

The levers themselves work on the Hall effect principle with a magnetic sensor. Thus, they should be more accurate and last longer. There is also a gyroscope for tilt control. In addition, the rear triggers also use the Hall effect and are analog. The manufacturer mentions that this makes the controller perfect for racing games.

Price starts at €58 on UK Amazon, official store the manufacturer(https://www.gamesir.hk/collections/gamepads/products/t4k) gives a price of 918 crowns with free shipping to the Czech Republic. Sales will begin at the end of April.
