SAMSUNG

Galaxy S25 FE renders confirm minor design changes and previous-gen Exynos 2400 chip

The Galaxy S25 FE has been photographed in a new leak. Visually, it looks nearly identical to the Galaxy S24 FE, but its chassis is slightly thinner.

Samsung’s next Fan Edition smartphone, the Galaxy S25 FE, is expected to launch later this year. Now we have our first look at it, thanks to OnLeaks and SammyGuru. And to no one’s surprise, it uses the same standardized design found on other Samsung devices.

The Galaxy S25 FE (SM-S731B) is virtually indistinguishable from its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 FE. All the familiar design cues are there: vertical cameras with LED flash, a punch-hole display, and all the buttons stacked on one side.

It measures 161.4mm × 76.6mm × 7.4mm, making it thinner than the Galaxy S24 FE. Spec-wise, the Galaxy S25 FE could outperform the regular Galaxy S25, with a 12MP front camera and all. Unfortunately, it won’t feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC for Galaxy. Users will have to settle for the previous-generation Exynos 2400 found in the Galaxy S24 series.

The Exynos 2400 is only slightly faster than the Exynos 2400e found in last year’s model, making the Galaxy S25 FE even less appealing in comparison. Samsung will have to think of other improvements to make it a viable purchase, and the only real way out is software. Or some surprise camera upgrades that will eventually emerge later. A price cut would also be nice, but that’s unlikely to happen given the state of the market.
