Copilot is coming to the Xbox mobile app in five countries
According to Microsoft, Copilot for Gaming knows which titles are being played on Xbox and is able to understand player activity on the console. In this first phase, testing is open to players in countries such as the United States, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Singapore.
Microsoft has started testing Copilot for Gaming, available in Beta mode through the Xbox app. Described as an intelligent assistant for games, this version of Copilot is designed to make the experience of playing on Xbox more fluid and personalized, says the technology company.
As Microsoft indicates, in this version, it will be possible to access Copilot for Gaming through the smartphone, which will act as a second screen so as not to distract players from the main gaming experience on the console.
According to the company, Copilot knows which title is being played and is able to understand player activity on Xbox, being able to answer questions about games and present links to access more information.
The assistant will also be able to answer questions based on the player's account, history and achievements.
The first version of Copilot for Gaming will be available in English for players over 18 in countries such as the United States, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Singapore, through the Xbox app, available for Android and iOS.
Portugal is not yet on the list, but Microsoft says it has plans to launch Copilot for Gaming in more countries.
Microsoft wants more and more AI in its gaming division...Microsoft has already shown ambitious plans for the feature, which could evolve into an AI-powered game coach.
In previous tests, Copilot was used to identify errors in Overwatch 2 matches, suggest ideal heroes and even answer questions in Minecraft, explaining how to craft items. Similar features are in development for Copilot Vision for Windows.
There is no release date yet for other regions of the world.
