COMPUTEX 2025

COMPUTEX 2025: Acer today announced the expansion of its Nitro graphics card lineup

Acer today announced, at COMPUTEX 2025, the expansion of its Nitro graphics card lineup, with the introduction of four new models aimed at the DIY gaming, content creation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications markets.

The new offerings include Intel® Arc™ and AMD Radeon™ technology-based GPUs, which aim to meet the demands of gamers and content creators.

With these new models, Acer reinforces its commitment to high-performance hardware and focuses on innovation and reliability for customized PC systems. The new products promise improvements in visual fidelity and processing power, essential for modern computing experiences. The new Nitro graphics cards share a focus on durability and user experience. They feature an aluminum backplate and a robust design to withstand intensive use.

They also come equipped with Acer Intelligence Space software, a central hub that detects system hardware, recommends AI applications and helps find gaming tools. Features such as Acer Game Assistance’s adaptive aiming system and automatic recording of game highlights via Acer ProCam round out the offering.

Acer is introducing two new Nitro graphics cards powered by Intel technology, targeting different user segments looking for performance in gaming and creation.

The Acer Nitro Intel Arc B580 OC 12GB graphics card, now also available in white in addition to the black finish, offers clock speeds of up to 2740 MHz and supports high FPS gaming at 1440p and displays up to 8K.

It is based on the Intel Xe2 microarchitecture, which integrates support for DirectX 12 Ultimate, with real-time ray tracing, mesh shaders, variable rate shading and sampler feedback to optimize the rendering of light, shadows and reflections.

Technologies such as Intel XeSS Frame Generation (XeSS-FG) increase frames per second, while Intel Xe Low Latency (XeLL) minimizes input lag. The FrostBlade cooling system, with textured blade fans and dual ball bearings, improves airflow and, according to Acer, reduces noise by 8% compared to plastic fans. The card also includes the Xe Media Engine with Dual Media Transcoder for video editing and AI Playground, an application that uses the XMX AI engines for AI-assisted image and video creation and editing. Designed for compact systems (Low Profile), the Acer Nitro Intel Arc A380 LP 6GB reaches clock speeds of up to 2000 MHz. It incorporates Intel XMX AI features and advanced 3D acceleration hardware in its Xe cores.

Like the B580 model, it supports DirectX 12 Ultimate, ray tracing and technologies such as Xe Super Sampling (XeSS) for AI image oversampling, which improves performance and visual fidelity.

This graphics card is optimized for content creation, with 8K HDR video processing, 3D workload acceleration and support for the storage-efficient AV1 codec. Cooling is provided by a blower-type fan, designed to dissipate heat efficiently in smaller chassis. Acer's offering is completed by two models based on AMD's latest GPU technology, focused on high performance for gaming and professional applications.

The two new AMD Radeon models include the Acer Nitro Radeon RX 9060 XT OC 16 GB and Acer Nitro Radeon RX 9060 XT OC 8 GB editions, which offer peak graphics processing frequencies up to 3320 MHz and stable gaming speeds up to 2780 MHz. They feature AMD RDNA 4 compute units with dedicated ray tracing and AI accelerators and are ready for gaming and content creation in 8K resolution.

They support AMD HYPR-RX technology, which aims to increase performance and reduce latency in a variety of games, and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4), with advanced frame generation technologies to increase frame rates in supported titles. The AMD Radiance Display Engine helps improve overall multimedia playback and streaming. The cooling system features two axial fans, double ball bearings and oil lubrication for quiet and efficient operation under load.

The Acer Nitro Intel Arc B580 OC 12GB graphics card is available in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) with a suggested retail price starting at €329.

The Acer Nitro Radeon RX 9060 XT OC 16GB and Acer Nitro Radeon RX 9060 XT OC 8GB models will be available in June in the same region, with prices starting at R$649.99 and R$599.99, respectively. Acer recommends checking its official website for more detailed information about its Nitro graphics card lineup.

Conclusion...Acer expands its Nitro graphics card lineup and offers DIY PC enthusiasts a diverse range of options based on the latest Intel Arc and AMD Radeon technologies.

With a strong focus on performance for gaming, content creation and AI, coupled with dedicated software and robust construction, these new Nitro graphics cards aim to cement Acer’s position in the competitive component market.
