Samsung Galaxy S23 starts receiving new One UI 6.1 interface

Samsung released this Thursday (28) the new One UI 6.1 for Galaxy S23 line devices. The new version of the software debuted on the Galaxy S24 in January and is now also starting to arrive on cell phones launched in 2023.

Who gets One UI 6.1 first?...According to information from Sammobile, One UI 6.1 is now available in the USA for devices in the S23 line from the Verizon operator.

Soon, the update will also be released by other operators in the country and also for the unlocked version of the device in April.

Abroad, the update was also confirmed starting today in South Korea and China.

Posts on the Samsung community forums also suggested something new. The Galaxy S23 FE, a more modest version of the family, should receive the update along with the high-end 2023 models.

It is worth remembering that there is still no estimate for the availability of the update in Brazil. All devices in the line will receive the new version of One UI, including the Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra and S23 FE.

Other high-end devices are also in line to receive the update. They are: the foldable Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Tab S9 tablet. The trio should receive One UI 6.1 in the coming weeks.

The latest version of Samsung's interface has interesting features. Perhaps the main one is the addition of Galaxy AI. The new artificial intelligence features have already been confirmed for S23 line devices and may even reach older cell phones.

How to check if an update is available?...If you want to manually check if an update is available on your Samsung Galaxy, just go to Settings (gear icon) > Software update > Download and install. As the package is released gradually, it may take longer before it is available globally.
