New Fuchsia for Google Nest Hub
The beta testing of version 12 of Google’s operating system Fuchsia has begun with a series of news and updates.
Fuchsia is one of Google’s more unknown operating systems which, unlike Chrome OS and Android, is not based on Linux but Google’s own core called Zircon. The devices that currently use Fuchsia OS are Nest Hub, Nest Hub (2nd gen) and Nest Hub Max.
Now Google is working on one upgrade to Fuchsia version 12 for Google Nest Hub, and a beta version has now started rolling out to beta testers.
The new version of the operating system will, among other things, adjust the screen lighting when the device starts up, improved accessibility and performance, faster interface and updated features when playing video. There will also be a series of bug fixes and updates to address issues that have plagued some devices using the Matter smart home standard.
When the sharp version of Fuchsia OS 12 is rolled out, a part depends on how the beta testing goes, but it is expected to be relevant during the autumn.
