Radeon 780M mobile graphics accelerator (RDNA 3) more efficient than discrete Radeon RX 6300 GPU

The AMD Radeon 780M mobile graphics card (RDNA 3) is about 40% faster than the discrete Radeon RX 6300 GPU released in March 2023.

The AMD Radeon RX 6300 (RDNA 2) is an entry-level solution, not a gaming graphics card. It uses a Navi 24 processor with 768 cores. The GPU operates at 1512 MHz and the memory is at 2000 MHz. There is only 2 GB of video memory on board with a 32-bit bus. This provides up to 64 GB/s bandwidth. The card also has 16 MB of Infinity cache. The TDP is 32W. The price is around 60 dollars.

The Radeon RX 6300 scored 25,608 points in the Geekbench 6 OpenCL test, while the Radeon 780M scored between 35,000 and 40,000 points. Mobile graphics are slightly below the desktop NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650.

Previously, the Radeon 780M was tested in games - the GPU comfortably lets you play titles like Horizon Zero Dawn, Cyberpunk 2077, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
