The new project by Elon Musk
One of Elon Musk's latest tweets seems to point the way to the next project by the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX. "It's time to create a 'wick,'" Musk writes on his social networking page.
The term 'mecha' refers to giant combat robots such as those found in Japanese animation works such as 'Gundam' or 'Evangelion'. As the Business Insider notes, Musk's appreciation for Japanese animation is well known, so the well-known entrepreneur may be preparing to surprise.
If it seems too crazy that Elon Musk could think about building a giant robot, it is worth remembering that we are talking about the same person who fulfilled the goal of landing rockets and even starting Boring Company, a company that aims to create tunnels in large cities that allegedly broke out of a joke. It is this same company whose first merchandising consists of a flamethrower.
