Spotify celebrates 10 years with very special 'playlist'

Spotify is celebrating 10 years of existence and, to mark the occasion, decided to make available a playlist where it brings together the most heard songs of the last decade.The 'playlist' - called 'Decade of Discovery' - consists of a total of 162 songs and includes songs by artists like Drake, The Killers, Eminem, Major Leisure, Lady Gaga or Beyoncé. As part of the celebrations, Spotify revealed that it has 180 million monthly active users, who use the service for free or have a Premium subscription."Since October 2008, fans around the world have taken advantage of a decade of music discovery by finding new artists and bands to fall in love with and rediscover new favorites. 'Playlists' like Discover Weekly or 'Release Radar' make discovering a new song or listening to a new band as easy as opening the Spotify application and pressing 'play'. We are now the largest music streaming service in the world but we remain focused on connecting fans and artists and helping them build their careers as if they were on the first day, "read the Spotify statement.
