The gadgets of the future can be recharged by movement

A study published by researchers at the University of Surrey in the publication Advanced Energy Materials details technology that would be able to carry electronic devices with only motion, which can revolutionize the way the batteries work.
The technology depends on the use of TEGs, which are not dependent on a human body for generating energy. The technology of this study is capable of generating energy through two organic, non-organic or hybrid media, which helps to further open the possibilities.
As a further study, the goal of researchers is to develop the technology to a point where it can be integrated as a method of alternative charging in smartphones or wearables.
